Gyeoul (겨울) By Erin Jang
Celebrate the season of togetherness with Erin Jang’s “Gyeoul” (Korean for “winter”), a beautifully crafted print that honors the comforting rituals of winter.
As Erin (@indigobunting) shares in her own words:
“Gyeoul’ (‘winter’ in Korea) is inspired by the ritual of sharing food as a balm in the colder months. Winter citrus like pomelo and clementines that I peel for my children, and scallion, ginger, garlic, and enoki mushrooms—aromatics for homemade soups and jjigaes—remind me of the many ways we can nourish one another.”
We’re honored to feature Erin’s artwork and deeply grateful for her generosity in dedicating all proceeds from “Gyeoul” to Heart of Dinner. Every purchase supports our mission to deliver nourishing care packages and foster meaningful connections that reduces food insecurity, social isolation, and loneliness among our beloved Elders.
