INSTRUCTIONS TO DELIVER

Our delivery volunteers are crucial to our operations. Many of our seniors live alone and in isolation, and our weekly deliveries are visits they look forward to. 

We are ideally seeking volunteers who are emotionally intuitive, empathetic, and find genuine joy in speaking with elders. 

As a delivery volunteer, you must be:

• Healthy and able-bodied

• Have license to drive and own a car (or have access to one)

• OR willing to be a passenger and paired with a volunteer driver

• Available for 3-5 hours on Wednesdays. Dependent on the route you are assigned to, pickup ranges between 12:45pm - 1:45pm at Essex Market. We rely on you to show up promptly at your assigned pickup time.
